Boy Scouts - Our troop of Scouts, organized at the end of 1928 by Mr. E. Zimmern, is doing very well. They are a self-supporting body. During the year 1929 they had outings almost every holiday, and they benefited greatly by their excursions. I hope more boys will be encouraged by their parents to join in the movement.

Scout Movement - Towards the end of the year Mr. E. Zimmern, one of our staff, organized a troop of boy scouts. He wanted only ten boys to start the movement, but more than forty volunteered. Those who were lucky enough to be chosen are in real earnest about their training and we expect them to be thoroughly efficient before many months have passed. Scouting is very good for bosy. It teaches them discipline and the love of the open country, which brings freshness and vigour into their lives and gives them energy for their work in teh class-room. I sincerely hope parents and guardians will encourage their boys to join in the movement.
